Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Slipper/Bingo Party
CentiMark's Corporate office donated slippers as prizes for the second annual CentiMark/CHP Bingo Party. The children join CentiMark volunteers in the CHP playroom for two hours of Bingo fun in which they can win as many slippers as they carry!
Walk for the Cure for Juvenile Diabetes
CentiMark's Steve Ferencz and the Kansas City office, family and friends recently participated in a Walk for the Cure for Juvenile Diabetes to support Rachel Ferencz, who has juvenile diabetes. This year, they have raised over $8, 094 for Rachel's Team to help find a cure for Juvenile Diabetes.
The Power of One Dollar
Congratulations to the San Leandro, CA office for their innovative donation to school children in Africa. Operations Manager Ralph McCorkle has a friend who is a volunteer teacher in Africa. He knew of her need for supplies. At a Safety Training meeting, everyone gave $1 for the school supplies. Karina Chavez coordinated purchasing the pens, pencils, erasers, staplers, calculators and dictionaries which were sent to the town of Lesotho in South Africa.
Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Mural Project
CentiMark's Corporate volunteers designed and painted two of the twelve parent sleeping rooms at Children's. Parent sleeping rooms are provided for the parents of children who have week long visits to the hospital. Parents sign up for a room to get a comfortable nights sleep with out having to leave the hospital and be far away from their children.
Habitat for Humanity
CentiMark's West Chicago office recently installed a new residential shingle roof on a home for Habitat for Humanity in Will County, IL.
St. Andrews Donation
CentiMark made a monetary donation to St. Andrews Church, 1621 Ferndale Avenue, Johnstown, PA. CentiMark completed the installation of a 34,000 square foot, fully-adhered EPDM (rubber) roof on the church in October 2003.
Junior Achievement
John Rudzik, CentiMark, has been working with 8th grade students in Junior Achievement programs for over 26 years. His ten-week in-school program concludes with a field trip to CentiMark.
