Over the September 15th weekend, the CentiMark Land Speed Mustang did not succeed in breaking the land speed record. After, three miles - and a planned shut-off - drive Steve Benyo could not restart the car. There was a broken connector rod that requires a re-balance of the engine.
Steve Benyo will return to the Bonneville Flats on October 3rd - which is the last time this year he can attempt to break the land speed record at this location.
