When Should You Replace Your Commercial Roof

As roof replacement specialists, CentiMark believes there are both risks and rewards in replacing a roof. Much like making the decision to purchase a new car, considerations must be made for general use and budget. Commercial roofing specific considerations for sensitivity to leaks and your facility must be taken into account as well. If a chronically leaky roof isn’t replaced in a timely manner, it can result in requiring replacement of not only the roof system, but also the insulation and potentially the deck.

Why is CentiMark the Best Decision for your Industrial Roof Replacement?

We also use the latest in thermal imaging technology to accurately diagnose the condition of your existing roof.

The value of our advanced technology is surpassed only by the knowledge and experience of the CentiMark roofers working on your replacement. Along with extensive training, our experience allows us to thoroughly consider important factors such as climate, current roof system, and future needs to help you make the best decision.

Steep Slope

What is Steep Slope?

Steep slope roofing usually refers to roofing materials suitable for roofs that have slopes of 3:12 or greater. This means for every 12 horizontal inches, the roof’s rise is three vertical inches or greater. Materials suitable for steep slope roofs include asphalt roll roofing as well as asphalt shingles, concrete and clay tiles, wood shakes, slate and metal roofs. Additionally, some modified bituminous roofs, as well as certain adhered single-ply membranes and SPF, can be used in certain steep slope roof applications.

Benefits of Steep Slope
Heightened defense.

Due to the natural pull of gravity, debris and water on a sloped surface tends to roll into gutters creating less concern about excessive weight from accumulated debris and standing water. This characteristic causes steep slope roofs to have relatively low maintenance. Steep slope materials offer aesthetically pleasing styles and colors.

Why choose CentiMark as your Steep Slope contractor?

Workmanship is more important to a good steep slope roof system than the materials themselves. Our mission is to keep our customers' buildings watertight, protect their properties and employees, all in concert with regular business operations. From inspection and installation to repairs and maintenance, we focus on workmanship and attention to detail, providing you a peace of mind with our Single Source Warranty that is backed by a multi-million dollar provision. Our dedicated roof service and production crews attend mandatory safety and installation training on a regular basis. This means your projects are OSHA compliant and completed by experienced, specialized experts every time.

Fast Fact: Due to their incline, steep slope roofs require imperative attention to safety details. Roofers use special safety precautions such as safety nets, tie offs, toe boards and more!
