Led by the generosity of founder, Chairman and CEO Edward B. Dunlap, CentiMark has been a caring and compassionate friend to The Children’s Home & Lemieux Family Center, supporting essential nonprofit services to children and families while providing aid to those struggling most.
The Children’s Home serves children and families through three programs. Child’s Way is a daycare for medically fragile children, providing early childhood education and nursing care for children experiencing disability or health disorders. The Pediatric Specialty Hospital provides a safe transition from hospital to home with high-quality care for children and caregiver education for their families. Finally, Adoption provides a lifetime of support services for adoptive families, birthparents and adoptees, while also offering essential services to children in foster care.
If not for the support from generous supporters like the CentiMark, these services would not exist. CentiMark has not only supported important programming for children and families, but has also given to personally touch the lives of those struggling most. This has included providing gift cards for families to purchase basic needs like food and clothing. For years, back-to-school supplies have been annually delivered to The Children’s Home in the form of backpacks filled with crayons, pencils, notebooks and more to go to disadvantaged children.
Mr. Dunlap and the CentiMark have also provided gifts to lift the spirits of children and families around the holidays. Overjoyed children have received Easter baskets filled with candy. Donated funds have provided holiday cheer with food and celebrations for families and children at The Children’s Home and surrounding community.
Words cannot express our appreciation to CentiMark and Ed Dunlap for their special role in helping the vulnerable children and families at The Children’s Home. On behalf of us all, congratulations on 50 years of success and thank you for supporting our community.
