Why does QuestMark need safety?

Why does QuestMark need safety?

We often hear people say, ‘You can’t fall off a floor!’ So, why does QuestMark need safety inspectors and safety training?

In any industry, especially construction, there are hazards. Some are obvious and easily recognizable, like falling from a roof. Others may not be so obvious but can be just as deadly. Every construction site has general safety hazards that can have various results such as:

  • Lacerations
  • Sprains/Strains
  • Falls (yes, even flooring projects can have fall hazards)
  • Falling Objects
  • Property Damage

Flooring projects have numerous potential hazards that could lead to injuries. Equipment powered by electricity, gasoline and propane require safety precautions and training that all of our flooring associates receive.

The use of gloves, safety glasses and other personal protective equipment (PPE) is required on flooring projects to minimize exposure to additional hazards.

Every QuestMark associate is responsible for their safety and the safety of their co-workers. Safety is needed to help everyone work as a team and prevent insurance claims.

In the course of business, accidents happen, property gets damaged and people get hurt. QuestMark requires safety training and compliance to reduce the risk exposure and find ways to make the company as profitable and efficient as possible. QuestMark needs safety to keep our associates safe and to keep our customers satisfied.

At QuestMark, we achieve our goals for a safe work environment through training, education, state-of the art equipment, strong leadership and support.

Our Safety and Risk Department sets goals for our flooring crews that meet and exceed the OSHA standards. We have a comprehensive written safety program with weekly, monthly and quarterly training for our flooring crews.
