Steep Slope

What is Steep Slope?

Steep slope roofing usually refers to roofing materials suitable for roofs that have slopes of 3:12 or greater. This means for every 12 horizontal inches, the roof’s rise is three vertical inches or greater. Materials suitable for steep slope roofs include asphalt roll roofing as well as asphalt shingles, concrete and clay tiles, wood shakes, slate and metal roofs. Additionally, some modified bituminous roofs, as well as certain adhered single-ply membranes and SPF, can be used in certain steep slope roof applications.

Benefits of Steep Slope
Heightened defense.

Due to the natural pull of gravity, debris and water on a sloped surface tends to roll into gutters creating less concern about excessive weight from accumulated debris and standing water. This characteristic causes steep slope roofs to have relatively low maintenance. Steep slope materials offer aesthetically pleasing styles and colors.

Why choose CentiMark as your steep slope contractor?

Workmanship is more important to a good steep slope roof system than the materials themselves. Our mission is to keep our customers' buildings watertight, protect their properties and employees, all in concert with regular business operations. From inspection and installation to repairs and maintenance, we focus on workmanship and attention to detail, providing you a peace of mind with our Single Source Warranty that is backed by a multi-million dollar provision. Metal Roofing

What is Metal Roofing?

The majority of modern metal roofs are made from corrugated galvanized steel; a steel sheet coated with zinc. Copper, aluminum, stainless steel, and tin are also used in commercial metal roof applications. Coatings can be applied to provide additional waterproofing, anti-rust, and UV protection.
