Crossroads Foundation is so very proud to congratulate Ed & Anna Dunlap, Tim & Teri Dunlap and CentiMark associates on your 50th anniversary. We applaud CentiMark and your Foundation for the the long history of helping not only the underserved youth in our own program, but also so many people of all ages in need throughout the Pittsburgh region.
CentiMark’s generous support of Crossroads Foundation since 2006 has helped to set hundreds of local, low-income youth on a path out of poverty and toward successful and meaningful lives. By supporting our unique, holistic scholarships, CentiMark has helped enable these youth, who live primarily within the boundaries of failing public high schools, to attend one of six college-preparatory Catholic high schools.
But well beyond that, the support has helped Crossroads to provide critical individualized assistance and guidance to each of our youth via a dedicated team of tutors, counselors and program staff who work with them year-round to realize their God-given potential despite obstacles caused by poverty.
CentiMark’s ongoing commitment to Crossroads has directly helped us grow from serving an average of 90 students a decade ago to 130 today, and yield an alumni college graduation rate of 63% - well over double that of low-income students nationally.
Because high school and college completion play such a critical role in the ability of our youth to access good-paying jobs as adults, we are also most grateful for Mr. Dunlap’s support of our annual senior recognition dinner at LeMont. Our students and families are always awed and inspired by this event – held in such a symbolic setting – for its reminder that their futures can be as spectacular as the view over our grand city of Pittsburgh, PA.
On behalf of our Board, staff, students and families, thank you Ed & Anna Dunlap, Tim & Teri Dunlap and CentiMark associates for your longtime investment and belief in our important mission.
May God Bless you with many, many more years of success!
