Improve Insulation. Save Energy. Decrease Heating Costs.
Use SPF Insulation on the Roof and in the Walls
Your goal is to insulate your roof and building envelope to save energy costs. Spray polyurethane foam (SPF) is an insulating, energy-efficient solution for your roof and walls.
When installing a spray polyurethane foam roof and/or wall system, workmanship is as critical as the quality and durability of the materials. Skilled, experienced installers are required for the successful application of SPF. That’s just one of the advantages of utilizing CentiMark - the largest spray foam applicator in North America. Our crews have that expertise and experience.
Additionally, CentiMark can assist customers in determining if government and/or utility based incentives may be available because of the energy-savings and insulation levels associated with the application of a Spray Polyurethane Foam roof and/or wall system.
The SPF Roof and/or Wall System
Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF or "Foam") roof and wall systems provide a seamless, monolithic application. The systems have excellent adhesion properties and can be outstanding on the roof system where wind uplift is a concern. For walls, SPF can help insulate the building to improve energy efficiency and reduce heating costs.
The SPF Process
Spray Polyurethane Foam roofs and/or walls are applied in a two-part liquid process that dries quickly to form a seamless waterproof barrier. For a roof, this barrier adds insulation and can be field fabricated to provide taper and slope so the roof can drain effectively. Spray foam roofs provide increased insulation and reflectivity and among various other attributes are fire resistant. For walls, the spray foam provides increased insulation and fire resistance.
Adding Coatings to the Roof
Once a spray polyurethane roof is installed, CentiMark adds protective coatings. The coating protects the polyisocyanurate foam from ultraviolet degradation. The roof coating is installed with one of many products: silicone coating, urethane coating, polyurea coating or an acrylic coating.. For added protection and slip resistance, granules are broadcast into the roof coating. CentiMark also provides a cementitious layer that can be used as the coating over the Spray Polyurethane Foam roof systems to add a very durable finish that is excellent for high traffic roof areas.
Coatings are not necessary for wall insulations of spray polyurethane foam.
