Successful CentiMark Southpointe Golfs for Children’s 2022 Event

Thanks to all of our golfers, sponsors, donors and volunteers who helped us have a very successful golf event on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Southpointe Golf Club, Canonsburg. This was the 19th year of CentiMark’s golf event for Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation.

The funds raised from the golf event benefitted Pennies From Heaven Fund to help parents with mortgage, rent, utilities, child care, lodging, gas, tolls and parking while their child is in the hospital. This Fund is part of UPMC Children’s Social Work program which supports the needs of patients and families. Special thanks to Kimberly Washington, LCSW, Manager, Clinical Social Work, UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh – Pennies from Heaven Fund - for her powerful talk on how the Social Work Department and Pennies from Heaven Fund help families in need.

Special thanks to John Banaszak, former Pittsburgh Steeler and three time Super Bowl Champion, for serving as our Honorary Chair for 19 years. Thanks to the golf staff and the food & beverage staff at Southpointe Golf Club for their hard work during the event.
