One of CentiMark’s charity projects during NRCA’s National Roofing Week is food drives and food bank donations across North America to help with food security needs in the 95 communities where CentiMark and CentiMark Ltd associates live and work.
Edward B. Dunlap, CentiMark Chairman and his wife Anna Dunlap, are well known for their philanthropy in western PA and across the United States and Canada. With the grand opening of The Dunlap Family Outpatient Center at St. Clair Heath, Mt. Lebanon, PA, on May 7, 2021, they left a legacy for The Dunlap Family for future generations and created a state-of-the-art outpatient center for the South Hills community in western PA.
The NRCA (National Roofing Contractors Association) identified the changes listed below as significant challenges to the supply chain in the commercial roofing industry.
In 2020 and 2021, the changes in the world were both global and a perfect storm: the pandemic, the fires in the northwest United States, hurricanes, hail storms, flooding, working from home, stimulus money that changed consumer spending, blockage of trade ships in the Suez Canal, trade wars with China and the shortage of commercial truck drivers.

Dan Miller joined CentiMark 39 years ago on February 28, 1982. Dan started with CentiMark on the roofing crew. He saw many opportunities for advancement and in less than a year he was promoted to roofing foreman and then Warehouse Manager.
Dan relocated to Allentown, PA for an opportunity in the flooring division. There, he was mentored by now retired Eastern Group Director Robert Fulton. Dan says: “Bob taught me how to be successful at CentiMark.”

John Rudzik is the Executive Director of the CentiMark Foundation after retiring in 2000 from his role as CentiMark’s CFO. When he began his career at CentiMark, the finances of the young, growing company were challenging. John struggled to pay the bills and make the payroll. Over the years, he witnessed the growth and financial success of the company, the building of the Corporate headquarters at Southpointe in Canonsburg, PA and the expansive philanthropy of the Dunlap Family and CentiMark Corporation.

For 38 years, Craig Scott has worked in the warehouse and expanded his responsibilities at CentiMark. He currently works as Maintenance Supervisor overseeing CentiMark buildings in Canonsburg, PA, Ed Dunlap’s numerous businesses and Ed & Anna Dunlap’s home. He’s a jack-of-all trades and works tirelessly at the tasks at hand. His dedication, professionalism, experience and knowledge will be greatly missed as he enters his well-deserved retirement. Although - and this is an editorial comment - he will not miss putting up all the Christmas decorations at the various properties!!!

Michael Testa is an estimator in the Stow, OH office of CentiMark. He has the unique experience as Ed Dunlap’s first Technical Representative when Ed Dunlap was also selling roofing in the 1970s to his customers in the Cleveland, OH and eastern OH markets and managing the company as President out of Pittsburgh, PA. When he was selling roofs, his customers did not know he owned the company! He was the Senior Salesman.

For over three years, Ed & Anna Dunlap, Tim & Terri Dunlap and CentiMark Corporation have donated monthly gifts to the 288 seniors who reside in three Pittsburgh area senior citizens facilities. Each holiday brings a treat from Pittsburgh, PA area vendors: 'Burgh Bits & Bites Food Tours, Sarris Candies, Basket of Pittsburgh, Wallace Flowers, Malone's Florist and other vendors. Items range from food and candy baskets, plants, flowers, books of stamps, gift cards to Famous Footwear or Target, flags for 4th of July. Food items and candy are the favorite treats!

Rick is a dedicated, committed, and professional Warehouse Manager who meets and exceeds the needs of the Richmond, VA roofing crews and their projects. Rick also assists other Warehouse Managers with training and assistance, whenever it is needed. He makes all his co-workers look better with his solutions to problems, because he NEVER takes any of the credit.
Congratulations to Jeff Doll, Warehouse Manager, St. Louis. MO, who won a 2020-21 Most Valuable Player (MVP) Winner Award from the NRCA (National Roofing Contractors Association) for his noteworthy contributions outside the workplace on March 5, 2021.
