by Cal Reese, CentiMark Director Global Accounts, Denver, CO

MetalEdgeAn inspection is the key to identify what is needed to reinforce the roof edge

Our skilled roofing inspectors examine:

- Drip Edge, Fascia, Gravel Stop
- Coping
- Gutters & Downspouts

General information about roof edge enhancements:

Investigations of roof failures immediately after Hurricane Katrina in 2005 determined that over 60% of the roofs began to fail at the roof edge first. Many of these failures can be prevented with proper details, inspection, installation and design. (Source: FM Global and RICOWI - Roofing Industry Committee on Weather Issues, Inc.)

Gutter and downspout systems, often overlooked, have a wind standard as well and can have enhancements and reinforcements.

Think color for an attractive metal edge on your roof and gutter system. For an aesthetic upgrade of the exterior of your building, there are 30 standard Kynar colors available with a 30 year finish warranty. Combine metal edge protection with attractive colors for your roof system.

CentiMark is proud to once again be named the #1 Roofing Contractor in North America with revenue of $484.7M, according to Roofing Contractor magazine, August 2014. Since 1991, in various roofing magazine rankings, CentiMark has consistently been the #1 or #2 roofing contractor in North America. We are standing the test of time as a leader in the roofing industry.

Industry honor: JLL Supplier of Distinction Award recipient

CentiMark is proud to be recognized as one of six suppliers by JLL (Jones Lange LaSalle) in April 2014, as a Supplier of Distinction, for playing a key role in elevating the firms ability to deliver industry-leading service, value and innovation to its corporate clients.

CentiMark was the winner of the Collaboration Category that considers suppliers that increase business opportunities and risk-sharing for mutual benefit. As an example, CentiMark was noted for a project with a global telecom provider. CentiMark increased that particular customer’s speed-to-market through streamlining roofing standards that saved more than $200,000 in roof inspections.
