CentiMark Corporation, QuestMark (a division of CentiMark Corporation) and CentiMark Ltd. (a Canadian subsidiary of CentiMark Corporation) have a tradition of sharing our blessings throughout the year, and, especially during this season of Thanksgiving.
The busy retail season is right around the corner. Now is the time to evaluate your floor to be sure that you are creating the best possible environment for your customers. A floor rejuvenation program might be just what you need. QuestMark, a division of CentiMark Corporation, suggests the following to help you maximize your stores appearance and safety:
Spring is here and that means spring cleaning. Don’t forget your floors.
The winter weather tracks in salt, moisture, dirt and debris into your facility. This can all be very damaging to your concrete or hard surface floors. It is important that you clean and maintain your floors to improve their durability, enhance non-slip characteristics, ensure optimal performance and keep them looking great. To determine what repairs or maintenance is needed, have a thorough floor evaluation conducted.
When choosing a flooring product, the major factors to consider are appearance, environment and usage. So how do you determine if polished concrete is the best option for your business? There are many different answers to this question, however; keep in mind polished concrete is a very durable floor that can handle most environments and withstand high levels of traffic. There are two requirements most environments have that polished concrete is suitable for.
QuestMark’s Segundo “Tito” Rodriquez lives and works in Arizona but has changed the lives of many Puerto Ricans who were and still are devastated by the Hurricane in the fall of 2017. Tito is a Field Supervisor in QuestMark’s Phoenix, AZ office.
Winters can be harsh. As difficult as they may be on us, have you ever considered what it does to your garage floor? Over the course of a given winter, how many times do you pull your car into your garage covered with extra moisture, road salt, or other debris that will ultimately end up on the garage floor and shorten the life of the concrete?
Plant shutdowns are good for business! While there is no convenient time to shut down a plant for maintenance work, plant shutdowns are a necessity for manufacturing facilities to maintain plants and equipment. This work typically cannot be performed during normal business operations. Weekends and the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays tend to be popular times to schedule the work.
Does your facility have a parking lot with multiple cracks? Are you re-saturating the surface only to find that it creates a mess and oils are tracked inside of your building? Do you want to extend the time between expensive milling and re-paving?
Is your plant shutting down over the upcoming holidays? Do you have a list of flooring projects that need to get completed? Whether you are looking to get your entire concrete surface polished, patched or just some standard maintenance, now is the time to get on the schedule.
If you are looking to do some of your flooring projects in-house, QuestMark has an extensive offering for DIY flooring maintenance, patch and repair products along with the tools to get the job done. Shop our offering at QuestMarkFlooring.com/shop.
Don’t forget QuestMark now offers a variety of coating solutions for your traffic deck and pavement whether they are concrete and asphalt.
